Elagabalus Denarius Fides Militum Part of the 2004 Dereham Hoard

Elagabalus denarius Fides Militum. Struck at Rome AD 219 good Very Fine. This coin was found in 2004 as part of the Dereham hoard of over 1000 Roman coins, the largest hoard ever found in Norfolk. Sold 9th April 2008 By Noonans, part of lot 37. Ex Michael Trennery with his ticket.

Reverse: Fides standing front, head right, holding standard and vexillum. FIDES MILITVM
